DJ Shadow Celebrates 30 Years of Endtroducing

DJ Shadow celebrates 30 years of Endtroducing with a dedicated set at The Palace Theatre in Calgary on October 30, 2026. Under his given name Joshua Paul Davis, the California producer and DJ forged an instrumental hip-hop style built from samples, turntablism and layered atmospheres where funk, soul, ambient, jazz and rock intersect. Early releases on Solesides/Quannum and Mo’ Wax set the tone before collaborations with UNKLE and a solo path that kept refining this collage-driven approach.

Endtroducing… stays at the core: a record assembled from records, whose textures and drum science continue to guide his stage craft.
