Pierre De Maere

On 14 November 2026 at La Boîte à Musiques – BAM, Metz, Pierre de Maere returns with French-language pop that likes to upend the rules. A Belgian singer-songwriter, he first came to attention with “Un jour, je marierai un ange” before releasing an EP, “Un jour, je,” and then his debut album, Regarde-moi, which went platinum. On stage he cultivates a taste for theatricality without overstatement, hovering between feverish romanticism, light irony and playful invention. His music moves between chanson and electropop, with direct lyricism and upfront melodies that find their full force live.

Crowned Male Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique in 2023, Pierre de Maere has explored multiple formats and appearances, shaping a clear musical and visual universe that he refines song by song. This Metz date is part of his 2026–27 tour—an opportunity to revisit Regarde-moi and its standout tracks, and to measure where his new impulses are taking him. The concert is conceived as a face-to-face encounter, where panache and precision sit side by side with spontaneity, carried by a voice that plays with intimacy, irony and the pleasure of a chorus.
