From 1936 to 2026, explore 90 years of the evolution of writing through the iconic legacy of the typewriter. The second exhibition in the Machine arrière series is dedicated to the typewriter.
It invites you to travel back to 1936 and to retrace, in reverse, the history from keyboards back to typewriters. It once again testifies to the ties between technological innovation and political and social contexts, offering an immersive look at the daily lives of typists.
