Chali 2na, A-Skillz

On June 4, 2026, Pandora Sevilla will host Chali 2na & A.Skillz with a live band. Chali 2na, born Charles Stewart and raised in South Central Los Angeles, cut his teeth at the Good Life Café open mics in the early 1990s, first with Unity Committee and later with Jurassic 5. His deep voice and rapid phrasing anchor an old‑school‑rooted rap, fueled by funk, soul and breaks. He was involved in the early days of Ozomatli and has followed his own path with the mixtape Fish Market (2004), the album Fish Outta Water (2009) and Fish Market Part 2 (2010), as well as the EPs Against the Current and the collaborative record with Krafty Kuts, Adventures of a Reluctant Superhero (2019). He has worked with Roots Manuva, Linkin Park, Blackalicious, Galactic, K’naan and Morcheeba, and maintains a strong connection to urban cultures as a painter and graffiti artist.

A.Skillz, the British Adam Mills, comes from the UK’s breakbeat and funk scene. Formed in the milieu of Finger Lickin’ Records, he blends hip‑hop, soul, funk, rock, electro, drum and bass and bass music in open‑format mixing sets and rhythmic play. In 2003 he released Tricka Technology with Krafty Kuts and went on to produce singles, remixes and DJ mixes that consolidated his approach between break culture and club energy.

With a live band, the MC and DJ add organic layers and accents of funk and Latin rhythms, bridging classic rap and open‑ended electronic music in a format designed for live performance.
