Info
On 18 November 2026, Feu! Chatterton took over Le Prisme in Aurillac. Led by Arthur Teboul, the Parisian quintet delivered its poetic rock, blending deeply felt phrasing with interwoven guitars and keyboards, a supple bass and precise drumming. Their name aptly captures the balance they favour: the spark of a “fire” and the shadow of a poet, for songs in which the words steer the musical tension without freezing it.
On stage, the band plays with contrasts — subtle electronic pads, nervous riffs and pauses that let the text swell. Echoes of Bashung, Barbara and Gainsbourg surface in the writing, without heavy-handed nods, serving a narrative that is built song by song.
There are tracks that have become touchstones, from La Mort dans la pinède to Le Malinche, Boeing or Fou à lier, interwoven with newer pieces such as Souvenirs, L’Oiseau or Ginger, often rearranged for the live show. Each song gains in relief, carried by the rhythm section and the dialogue between guitars and keyboards.
At Le Prisme in Aurillac, Feu! Chatterton promised a tight set, between verbal precision and collective energy, where literature flirts with electricity without losing the thread.
