Afrodanz - Afro House w/ Major League DJz

AFRODANZ returns to Barcelona on 15 August 2026 at SeaSea Club, Barcelona, led by Major League DJz. The South African twin duo Bandile and Banele Mbere have moved from Johannesburg clubs to an international circuit where amapiano meets afro-house. In the booth they blend sharp percussion, elastic basslines and progressive rises that flirt with 3-step and deep electronica. Through filmed formats like Balcony Mix Africa and Piano City they have honed a language designed for dancing and the circulation of sounds from the south of the continent, and they expand it through their label Untitled Audio.

Joining them, NIIXII and Sofia Pineda bring the local perspective. Two voices from the Barcelona scene who push the afro pulse from the booth with warm grooves, hypnotic percussion and straightforward mixes, bridging the duo’s approach and the city’s energy.

An event centered on afro rhythms and contemporary electronica, with a lineup that invites non-stop movement and to be swept away by the progression of each set.
