Dub inc

On March 27, 2027 at Sceneo in Longuenesse, Dub Inc took the stage with a show built for live performance. The band cultivates an open-minded reggae, between dancehall pulses, echoes of Kabyle music and nods to world music. At the center, the voices of Bouchkour and Komlan—two timbres that answer and complement each other—alternate between French, English and Kabyle. The melodies stick, the lyrics remain straightforward, with a clear throughline: mixing, blending styles, a desire to open borders. Forged by years of concerts across continents, Dub Inc has crossed paths with Tiken Jah Fakoly, David Hinds and Tarrus Riley, and that experience feeds a precise, responsive collective interplay. On stage, the set plays with dynamics: tempos that surge then settle, loping off‑beats, choruses to be sung together. In Longuenesse, the band presented a formula turned toward the audience and the collective, where reggae brushes against other colors without losing its roots.
