Les Yeux d'la Tête

Chanson, swing, rock and Eastern European flavors: Les Yeux d’la Tête cultivate a blend all their own, born in Parisian café-concerts and honed on tour. Driven by forward vocals, guitars, an accordion and a brass section, the band plays acoustically a fluid music that moves between bal manouche, musette and rockier pulses without losing the thread of its French-language lyrics.

On stage, the ensemble relies on collective listening and precise vocal arrangements. The songs alternate tempo contrasts and shifts in atmosphere, from the intimate breath of ballads to faster numbers, with portraits, everyday chronicles and travel tales anchoring each piece. This songwriting, shared among the musicians, feeds a repertoire that unfolds effortlessly, between singalong choruses and instrumental passages that give the brass and accordion room to breathe.
