On April 8, 2026 at the Carré Belle-Feuille in Boulogne-Billancourt, Stacey Kent revisits the standards and songs that have marked her career. An American jazz singer with a prolific discography, she moves between the Great American Songbook, French chanson and Brazilian influences — terrain she has been exploring since Breakfast on the Morning Tram and Raconte-moi. Alongside her longtime collaborator Jim Tomlinson, she blends original compositions and covers, some of them written with Kazuo Ishiguro. The evening highlights a precise interpretation, flexible tempos and a sensitivity to the text that lets each melody breathe. On the horizon, her new album A Time for Love, announced for spring 2026 on the Naïve label, illuminates the programme: bossa, ballads and songs in English as well as in French, presented in an intimate, unshowy format.
