On April 2, 2027 at L’Intégral in Belley, Gauvain Sers presents Boulevard de l’enfance, his fourth album shaped after a four-year hiatus. Between Paris and the Creuse, he has picked up the pulse of cafés, memories and conversations to create songs where the intimate brushes against the political and where humour answers tenderness. Fatherhood runs through these new tracks and illuminates a perspective that refocuses on his origins, where it all began.
On stage, his straightforward lyrics and guitar foreground portraits of ordinary lives, images of childhood and chronicles of everyday life. The new songs find their place alongside the pieces that made him known, in a stripped-back format that lets the words flow without artifice. It is a return to the very foundations of his writing: telling the world from a human perspective, between confidences and observation of the real.
