Mad Professor is a key figure in dub. Since the 1970s, when he began designing his own mixing consoles and effects units and later founded Ariwa Studios, his career has helped shape modern dub. In the 1980s, he produced numerous hits and was awarded Best Reggae Producer for seven consecutive years.
Throughout his career, he has worked on remixes for artists such as Massive Attack, The Orb, Sade, Jamiroquai and Rancid, bringing his distinctive sound beyond reggae and dub.
On May 4 at La (2) de Apolo, he will perform a two-hour live dub set accompanied by MC King Karmz, revisiting classics and releases on Ariwa.
