Frankie and the Witch Fingers

On November 24, 2026, at Rock School Barbey in Bordeaux, Frankie and the Witch Fingers brought their stage-ready psych‑punk. Hailing from Los Angeles, the band unspooled twisted riffs, tight rhythms and an energy that never lets up. Their album Data Doom digs into a darker register, traversed by technological dystopia, the rot of systems, creeping fascism and the erosion of humanity. The sound hardens there and opens to influences mixing proto‑punk, krautrock heritage and taut funk pulses, yielding tracks that hit hard without losing their thread.

Live, the machine alternates between trance and detonations, sharp breaks and syncopated variations, with a taste for builds that stretch out and then contort. Accustomed to relentless touring, they have shared the stage with Kikagaku Moyo, Ty Segall, Oh Sees, Cheap Trick and ZZ Top — signs of a musical terrain open to cross-pollination.
