Davina Michelle

On 12 September 2026 Davina Michelle is set to perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. Since Idols 2016 the singer from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel has been forging her own path: first with YouTube covers, then with original material. Her version of P!nk’s “What About Us” went viral in 2017 and cleared the way for singles such as “Skyward” and the Dutch-language “Duurt Te Lang.” With My Own World (2020) she defined her pop direction: modern production with electronic touches, plenty of space for the voice, and lyrics about resilience and relationships, mostly in English and sometimes in Dutch.

On stage Davina Michelle brings those two sides together: intimate ballads alongside more up-tempo tracks, tightly produced but delivered with immediacy. Expect material from My Own World, later singles, and a selection of songs that have already proven themselves live at major events. In 2021 she performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with “Sweet Water”; since then she has alternated effortlessly between studio and stage. In Utrecht this will come together in a melodic pop set focused on vocals, hooks, and a clear thread linking the songs and the overall narrative.
