The Hindley Street Country Club

On 28 April 2026 The Hindley Street Country Club will appear at Patronaat in Haarlem. Since 2017 this collective around bassist and producer Constantine Delo has brought together a core of studio musicians with a rotating cast of vocalists. Their specialty: live-arranged covers of pop, rock, soul and funk songs, performed with studio precision and the immediate energy of a band on stage.

The Hindley Street Country Club (HSCC) first gained recognition for sessions filmed in a single take, and built on that reputation with performances in Australia and beyond. On stage you’ll hear familiar classics from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s alongside more recent material, all driven by a tight pop-soul rhythm section, melodic guitars and prominent keyboards, sometimes augmented by horns. The group strikes a balance between remaining faithful to the original structure and subtly reworking arrangements, so each song lands slightly differently without losing its core.

Expect an evening of rich vocal colours, compact, groove-driven arrangements and that characteristic session-band feel: accessible, tight and played live.
