Nathan Fake

On 26 September 2026 at La Gaîté Lyrique, Nathan Fake presents an A/V live set built around his new album Evaporator. Hailing from Norfolk and signed to Border Community in the early 2000s, he forges a path between techno, electronica and ambient, with melodies in chiaroscuro, dense saturated pads and structures that shift from the club to attentive listening. On stage, he stretches his tracks into long variations, alternating repetitive pulses and more abstract sequences, within an audiovisual setup designed for the venue.

This set will draw from Evaporator and his previous albums — from Drowning in a Sea of Love to Providence, via Blizzards and Crystal Vision — revisiting his themes under new layers of texture. Co-founder of the Cambria Instruments label and formerly associated with Ninja Tune, Nathan Fake refines a vocabulary where rhythmic tension meets harmonic work. In Paris, he unfolds a visual version of this universe, where textured synths, discreet breaks and slow builds shape a continuous flow, more concert than club.
