On July 26, 2026, Tame Impala brings The Deadbeat Tour to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Led by Kevin Parker with longtime partners Dom Simper and Jay Watson, the project has shaped a personal take on psychedelic rock since the late 2000s. From the fuzzed-out contours of Innerspeaker to the tighter, synth-driven turns that followed, their live show tresses guitars, analog keys and melodic bass into steady, hypnotic grooves. Songs drift then lock in, choruses land clean, and the focus stays on sound and texture more than flash, tailed for a wide room without losing an intimate pulse.
Djo opens the night, the solo project of Joe Keery. Between psych pop, indie rock and synthpop, his tracks mix analog synths, rounded bass lines and treated vocals with classic song structures. Twenty Twenty set the frame in 2019; DECIDE pushed the synth and funk angles with lyrics on identity, technology and memory. On stage, Djo plays with a full band, leaning into tighter rhythms and extended transitions, a bridge between studio detail and live momentum that pairs neatly with Tame Impala’s widescreen psych.
