On 23 July 2026, Archive takes the stage at the Théâtre Antique in Arles. Born in London around Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, the collective has, since the 1990s, traced a line between trip-hop, post-rock and electronica. From their beginnings with Londonium to You All Look the Same to Me, then Lights and Controlling Crowds, the band has built a catalogue where dark beats, electronic textures and taut guitars intersect.
On stage, Archive bets on duration and gradual development. Tracks settle in, build and shift, carried by several voices that take turns, dense keyboards and a driving rhythmic backbone. "Again," a long piece that has become a landmark, sums up this stepped approach to composition. The set draws on different periods of the group, between standout songs and more recent productions, with a dynamic that works in the open air and underscores the scope of the arrangements.
