Daniel Romano with Special Guests

Canadian songwriter, poet and visual artist Daniel Romano comes to Vancouver with a live show that threads country storytelling, folk intimacy and a gritty rock current. First known with punk/indie outfit Attack in Black, Romano has since built a catalogue that shifts from classic twang and americana to a denser, electrified sound with his band The Outfit. On stage he moves from lonesome ballads to galloping numbers, mixing 60s pop colors, fuzzed guitars and touches of psychedelia, while the lyrics sketch roadside scenes, small-town myths and stubborn hopes. The set draws on albums like Workin’ for the Music Man, Come Cry With Me, If I’ve Only One Time Askin’, Modern Pressure, Cobra Poems and more, revisited with the sharp, flexible energy of his recent tours. He plays at Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Special guests open the night, extending the palette across folk, rock and garage shades before Romano and his band take over.
