On April 29, 2026, Meghan Patrick takes the stage at Midway Music Hall in Edmonton. Raised in Bowmanville, Ontario and now moving between Canada and Nashville, she blends modern country with a rock edge and traces of folk and bluegrass from her early days with The Stone Sparrows. Her solo path with Warner Music Canada has shaped a clear songwriting voice that leans on lived-in stories and straight-ahead melodies. From Grace & Grit (2016) to Country Music Made Me Do It (2018), then Heart on My Glass (2021), she explores relationships, independence and the realities of life on the road, often co-writing within the Nashville circle.
From the Edmonton area, Hailey Benedict joins the bill with a pop-leaning country sound. She started out young on local stages and online, before a standout moment saw her invited on stage by Keith Urban in Edmonton for a spontaneous duet. Her songs sit at the crossroads of accessible pop structures and contemporary country instrumentation, focusing on intimacy, relationships and that shift from teenage years into adulthood. Between steady shows across Alberta and the West and a run of singles, she’s building a catalogue designed for the live room as much as for playlists.
