Gauvain Sers

Gauvain Sers marks his return with Boulevard de l’enfance, a fourth album written between Paris and the Creuse, where he grounds his songs. These chronicles—where the personal meets the political—move between childhood memories, clear-eyed reflections on the world and everyday scenes, with the understated humor and tenderness that run through his writing. After three back-to-back albums and busy tours, he took the time to step away from the turmoil and return to the “real life” that nourishes his lyrics.

Now a father, he approaches society with a shifted, more inward gaze, faithful to his roots and to the cafés where his refrains are born. He will be on stage on 6 March 2027 at the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille, presenting songs that blend confidences and character sketches, alternating between off-the-beaten-path detours and intimate joys. It’s a return that reconnects childhood and the world, heritage and the present, and confirms his taste for song on a human scale, close to everyday life.
