Renan Luce

Twenty years after the release of his debut album Repenti, Renan Luce brings these songs back into the spotlight. On 17 December 2026 at La Cigale in Paris, he will perform the entire record in sequence, revisiting the thirteen tracks that launched his career and established his taste for tales of everyday life. The album presents a gallery of characters — small stories shaped like short films — carried by precise songwriting and music in which the singer-songwriter tradition flirts with folk, the waltz and the narrative ballad. True to his preferred, mostly acoustic format, Renan Luce puts voice and lyrics at the forefront, as he did at the start, but with 2026’s perspective on the songs of 2006. This date is part of a series of anniversary concerts in which the artist revisits Repenti without heavy-handed nostalgia, to once again feel the momentum of his early days and to explore how these pieces have aged, evolved and continue to speak to the present. A rare opportunity to hear the album as it was conceived, on stage, from the first to the last track.
