Info
Salebarbes returns to the Théâtre Capitole in Quebec City on February 14, 2027 with a new show. Led by Éloi and Jonathan Painchaud, Kevin McIntyre, Georges Belliveau and Jean‑François Breau, the Acadian collective draws on the traditions of Acadia and Louisiana to build a sound in which voices answer one another and roles rotate naturally. Between Cajun folk, touches of country and rock surges, the group cultivates rhythms that make you want to move, rich vocal harmonies and a pronounced Acadian way of speaking.
After Live au Pas Perdus, Gin à l’eau salée and À boire deboutte, Salebarbes continues to balance original compositions with covers from the repertoire, designed for the stage and for interaction with the audience. Their music links festive energy with a living popular memory, rooted in the present-day Francophone North America. Back at the Capitole, they return to a venue where the rapport is already established, for a concert that reflects the band: direct, warm and straightforward. Join them at the Théâtre Capitole in Quebec City on February 14, 2027.
