MARO: SO MUCH HAS CHANGED

MARO brings her So Much Has Changed tour to Toronto, tracing a path from Lisbon roots to Berklee and a growing international stage. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mariana Secca moves between pop, folk and soul, with jazz shades and a clear link to lusophone traditions. First noticed for intimate videos built around voice and guitar, she went on to release the MARO Vol. 1–3 trilogy and a steady run of collaborations, developing songs in Portuguese and English.

Her writing leans on clear melodies, close vocal harmonies and acoustic textures, often arranged for small ensembles where the voices carry the structure. In 2022 she represented Portugal at Eurovision with Saudade, saudade, a milestone that opened new doors while keeping her focus on stripped arrangements and collective vocal work alongside musicians such as Jacob Collier.

On April 15, 2026 at The Opera House in Toronto, MARO presents a set shaped by that bilingual songbook: intimate, finely arranged and centered on the interplay between guitar, keys and layered voices.
