Info
On April 4, 2026, Souffrance is at La Clef Saint-Germain-en-Laye for a live show that puts his writing and productions front and center. Originally from Montreuil and having come up through L’uZine, he moved through the 2010s carrying a rap tradition without nostalgia: ’90s references, tight writing, and punchy rhymes. His debut solo album, Tranche de vie (2021), set a clear course: to portray reality with precision and without detour. With Hiver Automne, co-composed with Tony Toxik, he shifts the dial toward a dark, fluid trap—insistent pianos and cold textures—while preserving the rigor of his writing. The lyrics remain raw, balanced between weariness and determination, and his voice leads the way.
On stage, Souffrance alternates technical verses with straightforward hooks, lets the instrumentals breathe, and revisits his trajectory from early work to recent tracks. An opening act will start the evening, followed by a compact, intense set where you hear what defines his signature: an eye for detail, a perspective on the city, and the rhyme machinery he sharpens record after record. This gig is made for longtime followers of L’uZine as well as for those discovering Hiver Automne.
