Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, returns to Paris with The Greatest Tour. Twenty years after the release of The Greatest (2006), she brings this record back to the forefront — an album that marked a turning point in her songwriting, between soulful ballads and stripped-down folk. Her deep, supple voice unfolds melodies that take their time, carried by spare arrangements in which piano and guitar outline the line. Tracks such as “The Greatest,” “Lived in Bars” and “Could We” are reworked for the stage with the economy of means and intensity that characterize her songwriting, while allowing the blend of fragility and tension that runs through her work to surface. The concert, built around the album, offers a concentrated immersion in this pivotal period, viewed through today’s lens. The performance will take place on November 9, 2026, at Salle Pleyel, Paris.
