On 29 November 2026 at Espace Julien in Marseille, comedian Lou Trotignon presents “Mérou.” On stage, Lou starts from a simple observation: at birth, it was decided that Lou would be a woman, and that assignment does not fit. “Mérou” unfolds an intimate and funny account of transition, from the first dose of testosterone to stripteases that challenge the gaze, to the discovery of a queer world where codes are renegotiated.
Lou speaks candidly, observes, and disarms. Through their story, familiar and concrete questions resurface: what becomes of us when we step outside the boxes? Can we reinvent our bodies, redefine the way we love, rewrite our trajectory? Between confidences and well-placed jokes, “Mérou” traces a personal path that invites taking back control of one’s own narrative, at one’s own pace, with humor and lucidity.
