Since the acoustic interlude begun in the early 2010s with When The Rain Comes and Driftwood, the Jones brothers have found a second wind that can be heard on record and carries through on stage. 2024 saw the release of Mother-of-Pearl Moon, less than two years after The Bone Carver: a delicate album with arrangements at once abundant and restrained, where electronic textures occasionally make an appearance. A new step for a band that continues to broaden its musical playground without compromising its identity.
