Elliott Murphy Band

Long-established in Paris, American singer-songwriter Elliott Murphy returns to New Morning Paris on March 13, 2026, accompanied by his Murphyland Band. He will perform songs from his album Infinity and revisit a repertoire he began with Aquashow in 1973. At his side are Olivier Durand, his stage partner for nearly thirty years, Alan Fatras on percussion, Melissa Cox on violin and Aurélien Barbolosi on bass, joined by special guests.

A figure of New York rock steeped in literature, Elliott Murphy has released more than forty albums and has lived in Paris since 1989. On stage he has crossed paths with musicians who have played with Talking Heads, Velvet Underground and Violent Femmes, as well as with Mick Taylor, Phil Collins, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. Also the author of short stories and novels, he was made a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2015. This concert will span his recent work and his classics, in the intimate setting of New Morning.
