The Royston Club

The Royston Club is a band of four friends from Wrexham, Wales, united by a direct, melodic brand of indie rock. Ben Matthias, Tom Faithfull, Dave Tute and Sam Jones made their name with self-produced demos, then with “Coasting” in 2021 — a debut single that quickly shot into the top 10 of vinyl sales in the UK. Their trademark: catchy melodies, biting guitar work and unfiltered songwriting built for the stage.

With Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars, their first album which reached #16 in the UK, the group began selling out venues, played Glastonbury and Rock en Seine, and even caught the attention of Ryan Reynolds. They followed up with Songs For The Spine, warmly received by critics, which opened a new chapter — tenser and more direct — without abandoning the effectiveness of their choruses.

After two sold-out shows at Supersonic Records, The Royston Club will return to Paris at Petit Bain on 22 May 2026. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with their raw energy, their unifying anthems and the stage presence that has earned them a reputation on both sides of the Channel.
