Ibrahim Maalouf « 20 ans de live »

For twenty years, Ibrahim Maalouf has carved out a singular path between jazz, pop and Levantine music. A French-Lebanese trumpeter, he has crafted a recognisable sound driven by improvisation, melodic writing and a taste for crossovers. Twenty albums, two Grammy nominations and four Victoires de la Musique mark this trajectory, but it is on stage that he best unfolds this fluid, open and collective aesthetic.

His "20 Years Live" tour sets in motion the pieces that have shaped his story and gives them a new life. On March 31, 2027, he will take over the Arena Futuroscope Chasseneuil-du-Poitou for an evening that spans his different facets: luminous trumpet themes, dialogues with his long-standing band, electronic textures in subtle touches, acoustic interludes, and that sense of contrast that can pivot from an energetic riff to a stripped-down melody. You can hear rhythms that lean toward hip-hop as much as rock, with Mediterranean colours woven through. A concert conceived as a panorama of twenty years of creation, performed in the present.
