Yves Jamait

Yves Jamait offers an intimate, narrative concert centered on Maxime Le Forestier, the artist who upended his adolescence and has quietly accompanied him ever since. On 27 November 2026 at L'Écrin in Talant, he unfolds a story in song, blending carefully chosen covers with reflections from his own repertoire to express what those words and melodies have lodged in him. No solemn pose—just the need to tell how a body of work slips into a life and subtly steers it.

At his side are Michel Haumont, a fingerstyle guitarist who has often collaborated with Maxime Le Forestier, and Jérôme Broyer, his onstage partner for more than ten years. Together they favor a stripped-down, precise acoustic approach that lets the strings and the voice breathe. Clear arpeggios, thoughtful arrangements, musical dialogues: the trio weaves a thread between memories and the present, where the music flows simply and directly.
