The collective On se dit quoi ?!, made up of architects and landscape designers, presents Retour au sol, an open‑air installation that invites people to slow down in the heart of the city. Conceived as an urban micro‑forest and a suspended garden, the work will take place in front of the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris on 3 October 2025. There, the collective explores a shared ground between the vegetal and the urban, to welcome bodies, walking and what they call the inner garden. The space can be discovered freely, like a temporary refuge within the dense fabric of the capital, where one can pause, observe and breathe before picking up the thread again.

Retour au sol continues the collective’s research into ways of inhabiting public space, combining lightweight construction, living ground and careful attention to use. Co‑produced by the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie and Un Été au Havre, the installation suggests a discreet, legible framework that opens views onto the city and its horizon without detaching from it.
