On 20 March 2026 at La Maroquinerie, Paris, Monkeys On Mars brings together on stage two hallmarks of heavy psychedelic rock: Mars Red Sky and Monkey3. Born from the meeting of the Bordeaux trio’s carefully crafted atmospheres and the Swiss band’s instrumental flights, the project blends ethereal vocals, massive rhythms, hypnotic grooves and progressive breaks. In the studio, this alliance produced a self-titled EP, released on 17 October 2025 by Mrs Red Sound, driven by a shared fascination with science fiction.
Live, the evening is structured as three uninterrupted sets: a Mars Red Sky set featuring Monkey3 as guests, then the reverse, before a finale presented as Monkeys On Mars. The order of the first two may vary by date, but Monkeys On Mars always closes. The format is designed to cross repertoires, stretch out the riffs and put the two worlds in dialogue, between soaring heaviness and instrumental pulses.
