Alborosie arrives at La Carène, Brest, on April 10, 2026 with The Shengen Clan for a roots and dub live show nourished by years on stage. Born in Sicily and based in Jamaica since the mid-2000s, he is a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist who has shaped a sound where deep basslines, roots harmonies, dub echoes and touches of dancehall meet. Surrounded by the Shengen Clan — rhythm section, vintage keyboards, brass and backing vocals — his tracks unfold in live versions, moving between swaying grooves and extended takes. You can expect to hear songs like “Kingston Town” or “Herbalist,” excerpts from his recent albums and instrumental passages that let the riddims breathe. With a patois-inflected flow and a guitar slung over his shoulder, Alborosie alternates singing, toasting and mixing moments while guiding the band close to the audience. An opening act will start the evening before the Shengen Clan takes the stage, setting the atmosphere.
