Miki

Miki, also known as Mikaela Duplay, moves forward with a modern, hybrid pop that blends intimate storytelling, rhythmic punch and finely crafted productions. She sings, speaks and writes in the first person, casting her eye on everyday life with a distance that lets both irony and tenderness come through. On 7 March 2026 at La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand, she performed songs that range from light to serious without overstating the contrast, with the mix of frankness and detours that defines her style.

Released in the spring, her first EP, Graou, takes its name from the expression she lets out when something “not cool but not a big deal” happens. The record shows a curiosity for form: choruses that stick without overacting, and a way of sliding the spoken-sung delivery into a clear melody. Between makeshift fixed shots, mental imagery and direct lyrics, Miki continues to write her path and is preparing an album for the autumn. On stage she preserves that liberty of tone: tracks designed to make you nod your head, words in the foreground, and an identity emerging without unnecessary effects.
