Yves Jamait

Yves Jamait traces back the thread of a formative encounter: as a teenager he discovered Maxime Le Forestier, and everything opened up. From that jolt was born a concert-narrative in which Jamait sings his own Maxime, moves through signature songs and less-expected gems, and recounts how those words have accompanied his path as a singer-songwriter. On 28 March 2026 at L’Entrepôt Le Haillan, he takes the audience on a restrained, sensitive journey, between intimate confidences and a guitar slung across his shoulder.

On stage, Jamait is joined by Michel Haumont, a fingerpicking guitarist who has often worked with Le Forestier, and Jérôme Broyer, a faithful partner responsible for precise arrangements. Together they create an acoustic setting where Le Forestier’s writing meets Jamait’s voice and phrasing, without imitation, in a spirit of transmission and sharing. An evening to rediscover a repertoire that has accompanied many journeys, seen through the eyes of an artist for whom these songs served as a starting point.
