Vanessa Paradis

For more than three decades, Vanessa Paradis has drawn a distinct line between Francophone pop and forays into English-language music. Discovered as a teenager with Joe le taxi, she went on to collaborate on landmark projects, from Serge Gainsbourg’s Variations sur le même t'aime to Lenny Kravitz on her self-titled ’90s album, then returned to a more acoustic vein with Matthieu Chedid on Divinidylle. Across records—from Bliss to Love Songs and Les Sources—her hushed voice settles on clear melodies, blending gentleness, a subtle groove and crisp, perfectly timed guitars.

On stage she reaches deep into this repertoire, between standout tracks like Be My Baby, Divine idylle, Il y a and Tandem, and more recent songs. Surrounded by a close-knit band, she moves between pop formats, ballads and folk-tinged numbers, without unnecessary effects, with that instantly recognizable timbre and a strong sense for a memorable chorus.

Vanessa Paradis will be at Brest Arena in Brest on 11 April 2026 for a concert that spans her different periods, from her iconic beginnings to today’s songs, in a simple, intimate atmosphere. It’s an opportunity to see again an artist who has managed to evolve her music without losing the thread of it.
