Yves Jamait takes the stage with Maxime et Moi, a concert-narrative born of a teenage revelation: the discovery of Maxime Le Forestier, the spark that set him on a path he never left. At the Kursaal in Besançon on March 6, 2026, he unfolds this intimate thread, recounts what that body of work altered in him, and sings it in his own way, echoing his own repertoire. Michel Haumont’s guitar, a picking specialist and regular collaborator of Le Forestier, lays down the framework and tempo. Jérôme Broyer, a long-time partner, adds depth and nuance. They move between confidences, memories and selected songs, without adopting a fixed posture of homage—just music and words that continue to resonate. It’s an opportunity to hear where Jamait comes from and how he remains true to it, up close to the songs that shaped him.
