Info
On March 7, 2027, at the London Coliseum in London, Rick Wakeman brings his “The Wizard of Prog: Ultimate Highlights Concert Tour” to the stage, shaped around the pieces that built his reputation as one of prog rock’s defining keyboard voices. Classically trained but forged in the studio circuit of late-60s London, Wakeman became a key part of Yes from 1971, leaving his fingerprints on the band’s early-70s peak with his lush, fast-moving keyboards and symphonic sense of scale.
This concert draws a line through the core of his solo universe too: instrumental prog built like cinematic chapters, where themes return, mutate, and open into longer forms. Expect the kind of narrative playing that made albums like The Six Wives of Henry VIII and Journey to the Centre of the Earth so distinctive, alongside later material that keeps his taste for musical storytelling intact, from refined piano reworkings to newer progressive suites.
