Info
Razorlight bring their ‘America’ 20th Anniversary Tour to The Prospect Building in Bristol on 5 December 2026. Born in London in 2002 around singer-guitarist Johnny Borrell, the band honed a lean, melodic guitar sound at the crossroads of garage rock, post-punk revival and sharp British pop writing. With Björn Ågren on guitar, Carl Dalemo on bass and Andy Burrows on drums, they broke through with Up All Night (2004) and Razorlight (2006), followed by Slipway Fires (2008), carried by tracks like Golden Touch, In the Morning, America and Wire to Wire. Reunited since 2021, they’ve re-centred that original chemistry while continuing the story with Olympus Sleeping (2018) and Planet Nowhere (2024). This anniversary date revisits the era that made America a key single for the band.
Opening, The Molotovs are a London trio formed in 2020 by Mathew Cartlidge (vocals, guitar) and his sister Issey (bass, vocals), joined by drummer Will Fooks. First cutting their teeth busking across the capital before racking up shows, they channel punk rock, power pop, mod revival and new wave into tight, hook-led songs. Along the way they’ve shared bills with The Libertines, Blondie, Iggy Pop and The Damned, signed to Marshall Records in 2025, released the singles More More More, Today’s Gonna Be Our Day and Rhythm of Yourself, and are set to deliver their debut album Wasted on Youth in 2026, produced by Jason Perry.
