Info
On April 14, 2027, at The Prospect Building in Bristol, The Wombats come back to the album that first put their name on the map: A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation. Built on short, nervy guitar songs with punchy choruses and a sharp eye on everyday relationships and urban anxiety, that early Wombats sound still hits with its mix of post-punk snap, melodic rush and danceable basslines. Expect the trio’s tight, fast-moving live energy, where riffs and rhythm lock in and the irony in the lyrics lands without slowing the songs down.
Cherryholt opens the night with a British indie-pop set shaped by crisp guitars and direct melodies. As a five-piece, they lean into the band dynamic: tight drums, bright hooks, and that push-and-pull between indie rock edge and clean pop songwriting. It’s the kind of support slot that warms the room up properly before the headliner takes it back to peak 2000s indie mode.
