Sixpence None The Richer

Sixpence None the Richer bring their thoughtful indie-rock back to the stage on 29 September 2026 at Thekla in Bristol. Fronted by Leigh Nash’s unmistakable voice and driven by Matt Slocum’s melodic guitar work, the band blends clear-lined pop hooks with introspective songwriting. Formed in 1992 in New Braunfels, Texas, they’ve built a catalogue of six albums, the recent Rosemary Hill EP, and their first live release, Live at Gruene Hall.

Expect a set that moves from early material like The Fatherless and the Widow and This Beautiful Mess to the self-titled breakthrough and Divine Discontent, then onwards to Lost in Transition and new songs. Their story runs alongside radio staples such as Kiss Me, There She Goes, Breathe Your Name and Don’t Dream It’s Over, plus a trail of accolades including Grammy nominations, Dove Awards and industry nods from Billboard, BMI and Young Hollywood. Reunited since 2024 after a long break from touring, Sixpence None the Richer return with a focused, tuneful show that balances the nostalgia of their hits with the pulse of their current writing.
