Nadau

Nadau will stop at the Zénith Limoges Métropole in Limoges on Saturday, September 12, 2026. An Occitan group rooted in the Pyrenees, they bring to the stage songs in Occitan and stories of the land that span generations. Led by Joan de Nadau, the repertoire forges a simple, precise link between language, memory and everyday life, with lyrics that tell of villages, festivals and the paths of those who live here.

On the program: voices supported by guitar, violin and bagpipe, choruses often taken up by the audience, spoken passages that set the scene, and melodies that move from dance to ballad. Altogether it shapes popular music in the truest sense—intimate, transmissible, balancing emotion and rhythm without unnecessary embellishment. Nadau continues to explore this musical territory with a sober, direct stage presence and a constant attention to language. An invitation to listen to a living heritage on an intimate scale—meant for listening and for sharing in the concert hall.
