Julien Clerc

Julien Clerc returns to Tours on 18 April 2026 at the Palais des Congrès – Le Vinci for a concert that spans more than half a century of songs. Discovered in 1968 with “La Cavalerie,” he quickly followed with landmark tracks such as “Ce n’est rien,” “Si on chantait” and “Ma préférence,” establishing a songwriting approach in which the French variété tradition mingles with pop. His instantly recognizable voice and keen sense of melody have accompanied several generations, from intimate venues to large stages.

On stage, he retraces the thread of his repertoire by mixing classics with more recent numbers. Pianos, strings and understated arrangements place the emphasis as much on the performer as on the songwriter.
