Laurent Gerra is back with his new show

Laurent Gerra takes his seat at the table, where he combines impressions, satire and parody songs with his usual verbal flair. A master of changing voice and persona, he snatches current events on the fly and turns them into biting portraits, oscillating between satirical attack and cabaret spirit. To be seen on February 12, 2027 at the Palais des Congrès de Tours.

On the bill is a lively, finely honed revue in which politicians, singers, TV and film figures, and even vegans, are put through the wringer. Gerra strings together sketches, pastiches and musical détournements, playing on tics, postures and catchphrases, and sketches a gallery of instantly recognizable characters. The pacing is supple, the language precise, the ear sharp, with that music-hall taste that gives the numbers extra texture.
