Free Finga
Born in Vilnius in 1992 under the name Tomas Narkevičius, Free Finga first came to prominence under the alias Fingalick before adopting his current name within the Lithuanian scene. His work sits at the crossroads of contemporary R&B, urban pop, melodic hip-hop and electronic soul, with a voice-centered writing, flexible productions and a taste for direct choruses. After the EPs 1000 Nights in 2014 and Ego in 2017 released as Fingalick, Free Finga broadened his audience with Pick Up Line in 2018, then developed a more personal formula on Praleisti skambučiai in 2019 and Freestyle in 2021. The album Dėmesio! released in 2021 marks a new step in this evolution, ahead of Plastika in 2024, released by Warner Baltics, which confirms his place in a Lithuanian pop-R&B attentive to textures, rhythm and contrasts between hushed singing and more incisive passages. Free Finga has also multiplied collaborations with artists from the Baltic scene, notably Keanu Blunt, Monika Liu, Monique, Angelou or Flying Saucer Gang, while maintaining a fairly tight identity at the crossroads of the intimate and the urban. Present in concerts as in the studio, Free Finga belongs to a generation of Lithuanian artists who blend pop formats, R&B sensibility and contemporary production.
