Tabber

Born in 1994 in South Korea, Kim Hyeon Joon, aka Tabber, develops part of his journey between Korea and the United States, where he lives notably in Minnesota, in New Jersey and in Los Angeles before returning to Seoul. Active with the label you.will.knovv since 2019, Tabber operates in a register that blends alternative R&B, hip-hop and experimental pop, with a flexible vocal writing, often deep, and tracks with changing structures. Before his solo debut, Tabber already appears on tracks by punchnello, ROMderful or APRO, then in 2020 releases his first EP, Deep End Mix Tape, featuring collaborations with Kim Ximya, So!YoON! and DEAN. In 2021, the single Electric Animal, produced with Keyon Christ, extends this tense and atmospheric aesthetic, the same year as his appearance on the Show Me the Money 10 show, which broadens his visibility in Korea. Tabber then releases the single 007 with Syd in 2022, then the EP Madness Always Turns to Sadness in 2023. Parallel to his personal releases, Tabber continues to move between R&B and Korean rap scenes, alongside artists like Code Kunst, Rad Museum, Dynamic Duo or HAON, while touring in Asia, Europe and North America.
