RUGGERO

Born in Città Sant’Angelo in the Abruzzo region, Ruggero Pasquarelli, who performs under the name RUGGERO, develops a pop sound tinged with Latin pop, sung mainly in Spanish, with songs built around direct melodies and contemporary pop songwriting. His public career began in Italy in 2010 with his participation in the fourth season of X Factor, where he finished sixth, before gaining international exposure in Argentina. Based in Buenos Aires since the early 2010s, RUGGERO became widely known through the musical series Violetta (2012–2015) and later Soy Luna (2016–2018), two productions that placed him in a circuit combining television, touring and original soundtracks. Alongside his acting work, RUGGERO launched his solo career in 2019 with the singles Probablemente and No Te Voy a Fallar, and signed with Sony Music Argentina in 2020. His studio discography includes Ruggero (2021) and Volver a Cero (2022). Over this period he has also released several collaborations, notably with MYA, Dvicio, Fabro and Emanero.
