Alex Lustig

Belgian producer and composer Alex Lustig has, since the 2010s, developed a body of work positioned between electronic music, ambient and downtempo. Initially noticed in production contexts close to rap and R&B, Alex Lustig gradually refocused his solo project on slower instrumental pieces built around soft textures, discreet rhythms and a pronounced use of space. His music moves through subtleties, with a taste for melodic layers, repetitive motifs and contemplative atmospheres, in a format that borrows as much from electronica as from the beat scene. Alongside releases under his own name, Alex Lustig has also composed and produced for other artists, which highlights the precision of his sonic approach without distancing it from a personal compositional voice. His visual universe extends this aesthetic through videos shot in cities or natural landscapes, where movement, attention to detail and the sense of environment occupy a central place.
