Elio Toffana

Hailing from the Madrid scene, Elio Toffana emerged in Spanish rap as part of the Ziontifik collective before expanding his career through group projects, collaborations and solo records. His name is also linked to Acqua Toffana, another key chapter in his trajectory, and to a joint effort with Venezuelan rapper Lil Supa that strengthened his ties to other Spanish-speaking scenes. Elio’s rap combines direct, often socially observant lyrics with productions ranging from boom bap to more contemporary styles, featuring dark, soul-tinged or electronic textures depending on the period. Active since the 2000s, he has accompanied the evolution of Spanish hip‑hop without confining himself to a single aesthetic, moving between the underground, live stages in Spain and several dates in Latin America. Alongside music, Elio Toffana has also worked as an actor in film, television and theatre.
